Lunch Yesterday

I forgot to upload photos of my lunch yesterday, so here they are. This is pan fried ahi (tuna) with locally grown spinach and a shimeiji mushroom ragout. The ragout is a kind of thick sauce. This ragout in particular used a bit of miso to flavor it. The rice is fried wakame rice. Wakame is a kind of kelp or edible seaweed. This is the kind of seaweed you'd find in miso soup.

The shimeiji mushrooms come from Hawaii's "fungal jungle", which is located on the Hamakua Coast of The Big Island. These are better known as Hamakua mushrooms, even though they have different varieties. All the ingredients they use are locally-grown so that it's guaranteed to be fresh. You can taste the difference if you tried.

Universal Build

Well, this is not really of a blog post. It is more of a Pastebin-style reference.

Breakfast.

Good afternoon.

This morning, I promised I would go out for breakfast at Denny's. Here are the photos I promised as well. If you want to go to Denny's and try what I ate, this is the Lumberjack Slam. It comes with two eggs, hash browns, two strips of bacon, two sausage links, and a slice of honey ham. On the side, it also comes with two pancakes and your choice of bread. In this case, I had some white bread toast. In the first photo, I had some tea and a glass of water for my beverage.

When I started eating, I asked for some gravy to go onto the hash browns since I always eat them like that whenever I go here. I also dipped the sausage links into the syrup (brown container between toast and pancakes). It may sound odd, but you should try it because it adds a slight sweetness and it goes well with the sausage. For the toast, there were jelly packets on the side of the table that had strawberry jam and grape jelly. I was going to order dessert, but the whole meal already made me full.

Guitar

Good evening.

Today, I have received a guitar from my relatives. They asked me to perform at a cousin's graduation party, which I agreed to do. My relatives gave me a condition that if I perform, I can keep the guitar because they have no use for it. The model is a Fender Squier Stratocaster. It looks pristine and I think it is quite new. The pickups are all single coils (SSS), and the bridge is a standard Fender bridge. I had fun with the guitar today, and I have bought some accessories so I can play. The first song I played was Fuwa Fuwa Time, from K-ON. It was quite easy because many of the chords are the same. The song I plan to perform is a song by Journey, and I will do a quick rearrange of one of their songs while singing with a Vocaloid. I will also try to do a Hirasawa rearrange of Kenja no Propeller 3 so that I can fill in the guitar part and play like Hirasawa.

Bad Mood.

I am currently in a bad mood. Please do not ask about it.
